New Controller

Time to start thinking about a higher voltage controller

It would seem that I only need to switch the high current (armiture) with a single switch.

I would prefer to use an igbt module

here is someone making a driver board for it.

and someone else

then I only need something small to switch the field windings

maybe a module like this:

cant find it at the moment but there is a three half bridge module that I hope I could just use one of them (can be found in 75A which would be about the right size)

these can be purchased from this shop on ebay:

use these gate drives

and these dcdc converters
