When I finally hooked up the motor and controller and fixed up all the error messages, I was pretty dissapointed that the motor did not work.
I am hoping that it is because I did not connect the FS1/belly switch as shown in the link below

Greg,
FS1 must be "Closed" (connected to ground) for the motor to work. I have a Gizmo (http://www.evalbum.com/1328) which had issues with the drive cutting out. It ended up being a circuit which was supposed to control the state of FS1 based on throttle position. I have a Hall Effect Throttle and FS1 had to open for regen (at least the mode I used) and I think it had to go through open for the controller to boot up without a fault. Let me know if you are still having issues and I may be able to help you out.
